5 Things That Happened To Me When I Stopped Drinking Alcohol
1) Mental Clarity (no more brain-fogs)
I noticed I was able to retain information and develop high critical thinking, not long after I stopped drinking., I'm also able to focus a lot more on things such as conversations with people, learning new skills/hobbies I'm Interested in, context of books and movies, to name just a few.
2) Lost Weight
Now, I've always been very outdoorsy and love exercising but all that was suppressed for a good couple of years when daily consumption of alcohol became prominent in my life. I "picked up where I left off " sort of speak, as soon as I decided to eliminate that unwanted habit and once more felt motivated to ride my bike, walking/hiking and spend more time outdoors... I gained a sense of a healthy self-esteem, started eating cleaner and healthier foods... Lost the desirable weight as result.
3) Better Eyesight
My eyesight improved pretty quickly soon after I stop drinking alcohol ...Those mild cataracts that I was noticing started to vanish and now they are completely gone!., I attribute this to the elimination of alcohol as well as all the positive changes I started to increment in m life as the result of it.
4) I Regained Control Of My Emotions
Those mood swings and irritability I once was subjective to are no longer present in my character, personality and or behavior. I now have the ability to tap into a much more natural state of calmness and mental steadiness which enables me to deal with life and affairs in a more peaceful and productive way.
5) Stronger Intuition
I began to be more intune with my inner-self and aware of my surroundings and thus be able to have discernment which guides me into making the right choices each day.
